Board of Directors

Kevin Richberg | Executive Director/CEO
Kevin has a BA in Finance from Howard University as well as an MBA in Marketing from Georgia State University. He worked in Corporate Finance for General Electric Capital and Sports Marketing for Host Communications before moving into education. Kevin has been teaching Finance, Marketing and Entrepreneurial Studies at Montclair High School since 2002. Kevin has served as an assistant football and baseball at Montclair High School as well as a club advisor for the Investment Banking Club as well as the Finance & Economics Club. He created BELA in 2017 and has worked to continuously add relevant programming to the organization.

Dale Favors | Vice President
Dale Favors has over 25 years of sales experience primarily focused in the financial markets. He has worked with some of the world’s largest hedge funds, asset managers, corporations and Public Pension Plans, advising them on securities transactions and their usage of financial data and technology. He was most recently Head of a Relationship Management Team for Thompson Reuters’ Financial and Risk Division. Mr. Favors is a seasoned leader and has built an extensive network of relationships across business sectors as a result of working in key positions at Bloomberg LP, Morgan Stanley, Piper Jaffray, Royal Bank of Canada, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and CastleOak Securities.

Mr. Favors graduated from Florida A&M University with an M.B.A. and B.A. in Business Administration and Finance.

Lisa C Batchelor |Board Member
Lisa C. Batchelor has enjoyed more than twenty years as Director/Owner of Unique Performance Arts Center. Her training includes the Royal Academy of Ballet, Broadway Dance Center and Dance Theatre of Harlem. She has performed in Los Angeles and for Norwegian Cruise Lines. She was the featured dancer in the 1998 Miss New Jersey Pageant. Lisa choreographed West Orange High School's production of West Side Story and choreographed industrial productions in NYC. Before UPAC, she taught at several schools and choreographed award-winning routines for their competition teams.

Lisa, her husband and two children reside in Montclair; however she considers West Orange her "home away from home." Having taught classes and later establishing her business in West Orange, Lisa has been very active in West Orange's small business community for more than 30 years
